I’m a Southern-born storyteller with a passport full of stamps and a heart set on discovery. As an international travel writer and photographer, I capture the beauty, humor, and humanity found in every corner of the globe from bustling cities to quiet, hidden trails.

My journeys often include my husband and twin boys in tow, turning our family travel into a blend of adventure, chaos, and wonder. Whether I’m chasing golden light through my camera lens, uncovering a local tradition, or finding the hidden humor in a missed train, I believe exploration is a lifelong lesson. I aim to inspire others to see the world not just as a collection of places, but as a source of endless learning and connection.

When I’m not traveling or embarking on an outdoor adventure, you’ll find me at home on the back porch with a sun-downer in hand, flipping through a National Geographic or Garden & Gun, and chasing the chickens (and twins) out of the garden.

There was a moment, probably around the third pair of stretched-out stained leggings and still wearing a nursing bra even though I hadn’t pumped in months, that I realized I *missed me.* I was emerging from the newborn trenches and transitioning to the toddler phase, but I didn’t look like a woman who was finally getting more sleep and attempting to leave the house to reenter society. The abrupt downgrade from “stylish professional” to “frumpy blob” happened quickly during a COVID bedridden twin pregnancy, and I realized the transition back to chic was going to be a much harder uphill climb. Somewhere in the fog of endless dirty diapers and constant snack crumbs, I decided “I want my chic back” and it would be worth the effort.

The view from my precipice is amazing. We are situated on top of the Western side of the caldera and looking down onto 100 square miles of grasslands and animals. The Masai tribes still hold their grazing rights to this pristine land. I am excited to venture down into the crater tomorrow morning and get a different angle of this lush ancient volcano and everything that lives on the inactive floor.
